well my hair wasn't perfect by any means but i dyed it red.. it just kinda tinted it really cause my hair wasn't light enough to start with but i like it :) you can't see it too well in the pic though..

went to hollister yesterday, i could easily spend all day in there lol i love it .. also went to topshop and got a jumper in the sale- half price woo! only £15, love a bargin

seriously, in summer i want sun, fun, friends, bbq's, time to relax :) but nope, i'm home, it's raining outside, i'm so bored lol.

one good thing that's come out of my boredom is i've been to the gym twice this week (!), although i hate exercise it's actually not that bad.. although that could have something to do with these three guys that have been there both times ;) if that's not motivation i don't know what is haha.

and there's hollister opening near me tomorrow too (yay!). so me & rach are gonna go and check it out, already been on the website seeing what i want..

so we thought that if we wanted people to follow our blog, it'd make sense that you knew a little about us,

but since none of us are the types to talk about ourselves, we're doing it for eachother :)
so prepare to learn a bit about Beth ..

i first met Beth at secondary school four years ago, and she hasn't managed to get rid of me yet ;)
i love her to bits, everyone does.
She's 15. a great friend, laidback/easy going, funny, pretty, stylish, thoughtful & obsessed with friends :) you think someone like this would be really big headed right ? nope, she's so modest it's untrue.. when i told her i as writing about her today she said ''try & make out i'm a bit cooler than the geek i am haha''.
she's not a geek though lol, she loves music, fashion, dance, books, magazines, films. & i don't know why she's friends with me really.

we've got quite a lot in common; similar tastes in music, tv, humour & fashion.. which is mainly why we set up this blog together, because we love putting together different clothes for different looks. (i think the style advisor at topshop gets annoyed that we have to try on almost everything in the shop.. more than once)

firstly, sorry we haven't posted for soo long x things have been a little hectic with school ending friday and having to tie up loose ends with coursework :(

soo.. it's summer & musical festivals are a big event ! the music is the most important thing, but wearing somehting adaptable to this unpredictable weather is definately up there.

Take tips from Alexa Chung, Lily Cole, Pixie Geldof & Nicole Richie for your festival style.

take shorts & a top for your staple pieces, also take jeans in case the weather turns bad & a jacket & also a pair of boots/wellies , which look great over skinny jeans or with shorts and will protect you from the mud if it rains.

if you'll be staying in a tent, do you hair in a messy style (see 'bedhead' post) and take grips and bobbles and dry shampoo to tidy it up.

no need to spend hours tryinig to get the 'just-rolled-out-of-bed' look. it's called that for a reason :) so help it live up to it's name and get this effortless style :)

-after washing your hair towel dry it & put it into loose plaits

-if your hair is quite frizzy use a serum or smoothing balm before you plait your hair

-leave in over night

-when you take the plaits out the next morning, run your fingers through you hair

-if you want use wax/gel/hairspray to pick out certain waves for a more textured look

if your not happy with your look (but i bet you will be!) throw in plaits anywhere you need to, or put it up into a messy bun with plaits either side or around the top.

i love trilby hats and they seem to be very popular this year. they make outfits look really laid back and are great for bad hair bays. you can buy them in places like topshop but can be quite expensive-around £20 usually; i would suggest buying them from shops like HnM as they usually have them for around £6. x0x0x

got a kitten today. havent decided on a name yet but she's 8 weeks old and tortoise shell. the ad said ' a calm, timid kitten in need of a loving home with older children.'

oh boy, was the ad wrong. so i get home today and this so called ' calm kitten' is pacing back and forth like its about to attempt murder, and the saying ' if looks could kill' has never been more true. its already bitten me, scratched me raw , and wont even sit on my knee ! very depressing as i was planning to be good friends with this cat. haha, oh well.

maybe when i name it, it will be more friendly.

love your style Nicole...

For my first post, i thought i would do it on one of mine and katies' favourite style icons; Nicole Richie. Her mix of vintage and high street clothing combie to make a boho/hippie style that looks great in every outfit. her style is so laid back and cool, the key to her style seems to be to keep things simple and add lots of accessories. Her key items are knitted cardigans, cool shoes and heels, skinnie jeans, tunics, hats and big sunglasses! Also her daughter Harlow looks soo cute everytime shes pictured with her mom!
